Getting reading for trainings

A new year, new students, new teacher and new trainings. I'm getting ready to take our Multi-Tiered System of Support Team to Topeka for a training at the beginning of the month. We're very excited that this will be another successful component of our intervention system which includes a Student Improvement Team, Positive Behavior Support and Functional Behavior Assessments. I'm also sending teachers off to Lincoln for All Stars Training, in order to help them teach our freshmen transition program. We started Friday Afternoon School this year as well, in order to better deal with tardy and lunch detentions. I talked to folks at Pittsburg and Wamego and they said that they've been pleased with Friday School.
