Hey there, thanks for the add...sure, send ideas and thoughts on whatever you like. I'm sure if they align to state standards or they would be a good fit for the media globe, I'll do my best to create them.

Hi there. Thanks for making contact. I wish we had one of you in our college!! Most of our teachers are rather cautious about embracing open source software. Sharing information with you would be great.
PS - like your posts on the birds - don't know what I would do without all the finches etc who visit my garden.
PPS - hope you will consider joining the Edubloggers Directory!

Ten of us from my school are going to the professional bull riders in March. I'm busy gearing up. It's a totally random thing for us to do; however, I am Texas-born...so I somehow qualify.
We do many things related to Jan Brett in our kindergarten classes. I'm happy to hear that she is so user-friendly. Thanks for the friendvite.

yes, I have been busy. This year I have some extra time with no students scheduled and the principal want me to work with students who are "at risk" but not receiving other services. This is proving a challenge for the classroom teachers. They are just now getting enough data to "prove" those students' needs, but it will all work out. My husband is scheduled for back surgery this month so I am trying to shuttle his classroom work back a forth between his school and home. All and all it is a full year. This districts' elementary art teachers are working on the inservice training we want to have to improve our contributions to student learning. I have a sister who is teaching in Gallup, NM and in visiting with her I see so many different approaches to the challenges students present. Each geographic area has it's own differences.

Awesome, hope you enjoy using it!... we still have so much to do. We just tweeked the KAT demo to start ! ... Croquet seems to have so much potential ... we are getting a Teen Grid on Secondlife but the Croquet stuff really seems like something the youngers could get into on their school networks (Croquet is a Peer to Peer based system - kinda like a 3D version of MSN Messenger in a way)... I know my kids (1st & 3rd graders) LOVE building stuff together on a Croquet Island! -- they painted the Mars rover the other day on a simulation of the Mars terrain .. it was a neat little exercise!
